Wild birds are found floating dead on the Caspian Sea. What’s the reason for their death? It’s the lethal H5N1 strain, once again. The strain was found by Azerbaijan, leading to the avian flu discovery in a new country. Two more deaths from the virus were also reported in China and Indonesia.
It was earlier this week; the virus was discovered in birds in the west African country of Nigeria. It extends what a senior United Nations official called a devastating spread from southern Asia over the past seven months.
Although, health experts are trying to warn people of the danger of a virus, episodes in countries as far apart as Nigeria and Iraq showed the struggle they eventually face.
