Sour Hard cheese, vinegar, yogurt, lemon, and several other options are available for salt lovers.

Bitter  Lettuce, turmeric, leafy green veggies, and many other options are good to include in your diet.

Salty Salt and other salt foods come under this category.

Pungent Cayenne, chili peppers, ginger, and hot spices belong to the pungent category.

Astringent Lentils, beans and can be chosen from this category.

The idea is to include all 6 tastes in every meal to gain complete nourishment. Medical science has also proved that it is extremely healthy for the human body to have these 6 tastes in a meal.

The diet works on the principle that if your digestive system is efficient it can digest whatever you eat. On the other hand, if your digestive system is weak then you might have to sacrifice some of the foods. Ayurveda Diet makes the digestive system of an individual strong enough so that you can eat all kinds of foods. To balance you digestive system, you may include kichari and ginger tea in your daily diet.
