Australians neglecting heart disease risks

Australians want to look better, but don’t want to feel better at heart. ‘Newspoll’, a national survey, conducted a study and concluded that people in Australia pay out more money and time for their external show and other things to do in day to day life.

They hesitate to spend money for the goodness of their health, at least heart. About twenty percent of the adults did not go for the cholesterol test in their life time. It shows that health never comes to the priority list for some Australians.

However, Heart disease affects a large number of people in the country. Every fourth Australian did not have a cholesterol measurement in the last five years. At the same time, every fifth Australians never went for the same in their life time.
