Isabelle Dinoire, the French woman, is the first person who received first partial face transplant. She has now complete feeling in the new tissues. It is now five months of operation. She told it in a press conference on April 30, 2006.
She becomes stunned if she looks the difference between her earlier face and the new one. Her speech got better because of facial mobility now. In pronouncing the word that uses the lips, like “b” or “p”, she faces difficulties.
She visits a hospital in Lyon, in southeast France, to get more testing and treatment. She now takes 10 pills a day, down from the original 20 as the tissues are doing better now.
