Vasectomy may invite a rare type of dementia

primary progressive aphasia 64
If you have undergone vasectomy-a permanent birth control method, then you can be at higher risk of developing a rare type of dementia marked by a steady loss of language skills.

Researchers have linked this sterilization surgery to a neurological condition called primary progressive aphasia, or PPA after tracking a larger group of men ranged from 55 to 80 years old. And interestingly, these findings seems to be quite convincing because the patients with PPA who were tracked, 40 percent of those had undergone a vasectomy, compared to 16 percent of the people without this sterilization surgery. Moreover, those with PPA also suffered the ailment an average of four years earlier than the others.

Personally, I believe that this study may hurl a new controversy because millions of people all round the world go for vasectomy, which has been dubbed as one of the safest methods of birth control. Well, as there is a say that some controversies arise just for better results and if we take this newly hurled controversy in the same way then none can deny the fact that this new finding or so-called controversy about vasectomy may wrap out good findings.
