Tasigna, a new drug for leukemia, made by Novartis AG is a new hope for the patients with uncaring form of leukemia. The new drug has helped more than ninety per cent of leukemia patients.
The New England Journal of Medicine has published the study report. Five months of the treatment with Tasigna has helped the patients to balance the white blood cells count in blood. However, Tasigna has failed to detect the genetic abnormality that causes most of the leukemia cases.
