Smoking hits heart badly than lung

Tobacco, in any form, leads to death or disability ultimately. A cigarette contains about 4000 chemical compounds that badly affect the different body organs. People generally consider lung cancer and emphysema as the most likely disease related to smoking.

The surveys say that heart disease is the greatest killer of smokers. 1,690,000 newborn babies had died due to heart disease among smokers in 2000 only. On the other hand, there were 850,000 people died from smoking in the same year. The smoking holds added risk if women do. If women smoke regularly during pregnancy, it affects them badly as well as their babies too. It sharply increases the risk of premature deaths of babies.
