South Korean scientists claim major breakthrough in fight against AIDS!

If the claims made by South Korean scientists that they are closer to understanding how a protein found in both primates and humans blocks the progression of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) in the apes is true then it is really a significant news for the whole world and especially for those who are deeply concerned about the spread of deadly HIV virus.

Woo Jae-Sung says, ‘We hope our research will lead to drugs or better therapy for other incurable viral diseases.’ If we believe these claims then it would not be wrong, to hope that days are not far away when we’d emerge as winners in our fight against HIV/AIDS.
