Social status linked to lifespan: study!

Social status has strongly been associated with lifespan. Before uncovering this association researchers tracked about 524 men – 135 winners and 389 nominees – for the Nobel Prize in physics and chemistry between 1901 and 1950.

Fact, which came out of this study, reveals that people with higher social status claimed longer lifespan while people with low social status were noticed with lesser lifespan.

On this base, it could be asserted that social status has definitely something to do with lifespan. However, it is pitiable that scientists have not been able to carve out a solid reason to vindicate this association. However, it seems that higher social status enable people to access better medical facilities, better and more nutritious diet, which somehow results in longer lifespan.
