Sneezing Enhances The Risk Of Cross-Infection

Mere sneeze may play a crucial role in spreading out harmful bacteria in our surroundings, a new study has disclosed this fact. According to this new study, many people carry a potential disease-causing microbe, known as Staphylococcus aureus in their noses and through sneezing, those microbes spread out.

According to Dr. Werner E. Bischoff, from Wake Forest University in Winston Salem, North Carolina, and colleagues:

Our findings suggest that sneezing contributes to the risk of cross-infection by airborne transmission of S. aureus, coagulase-negative staphylococci (CoNS), and probably other bacteria, and they should be taken into consideration in future investigations of outbreaks.

I think that the above mentioned statement is quite right. It’s the need of the hour to take some preventive measures against these deadly microbes.
