Has your blood pressure level spiked up without coming to your notice. Oh! Just cool down , as may be all this is false; if not much so may be a bit, at least.
We all know that blood pressure meter contains quite a flimsy mechanism, making it quite prone to shocks. All this often leads to false reading. However, end to this problem seems just in hand now with Rudolf Riester Company promoting its new meter – claimed to be shockproof. Showing a glimpse of the efforts, which experts put in before coming out with this shockproof meter, TEG project manager Andreas Reindl avers:
…we used a high-speed camera to film what happens when a blood pressure meter suffers a heavy blow.
What distinguishes shockproof meter from the normal one is it’s feature that doesn’t allow it to give readings more than 2 mm Hg than normal, whereas normal meters sometimes go out by a margin of 10 mm Hg even. So, next time if you get even shocking results form shockproof blood pressure meter, take it for sure.
