Robot does heart surgery

For the first time, a Robot has performed heart surgery without any human interference. The operation took fifty minutes. Milan, 34, had undergone for atrial fibrillation. The doctors monitored the operation procedure through satellite. The robot was previously used for several heart surgeries.

Moreover, robot’s software was technically supported with the experience collected from 10,000 previous heart patients. It was integrated with the knowledge of several human surgeons too. However, the final decision was their own. The surgery was not a complex one. Journal of the American College of Cardiology published the detail report of the surgery.

This is the sign of things to come.
