Right diet of colored fruits and vegetables helps fight cancer

Different researches have proved that fruits and vegetables like grapes, radishes, purple corn, chokeberries, bilberries, purple and black carrots, elderberries and all those red, purple and blue in color help to fight cancer. Each of them have different levels of impact at different quantities consumed, to fight and achieve 50% cancer cell growth reduction.

It was clearly seen that those who ate raw fruits and vegetables and avoided all of the refined, manufactured food products, phenomenal results were observed. All of the fruits and vegetables were found to be effective.

So to speak if you select 1000 people out of a particular average population and examine their diets in terms of cancer prevention, it is found that the vast majority of those 1000 people are consuming a lot of cancer-causing ingredients in packaged meats (the sodium nitrite ingredient), they’re consuming synthetically colored and are eating monosodium glutamate and other ingredients that actually promote cancer.

The same when seen in holistic nutritionists, or people who consume vegetarian organic diets, one could easily observe a much stronger protective effect. The cancer rates in that group would drop down much faster or be very low already.

It also matters what does one mean by eating red, blue or purple fruits and vegetables for example eating apple pie is counted as a fruit in clinical trials. But in reality it is proved otherwise. As it is considered just as a cooked, sugary apple pie made with hydrogenated oils, refined white flour and refined sugar.

So people too many a times have vague definitions of what fruits and vegetables really are. Yet even these people having a not so controlled diet with exact food habits on minimal plant diets are showing positive results.

This logically makes it very clear that even people who have poor dietary habits can dramatically reduce their risk of cancer by consuming a few fruits and vegetables along with their unhealthy foods.

One has to be at the same time very clear on how real are the colors of the diet consumed for example, foods colored with artificial additives may cause a host of undesirable behavioral effects in children.

Monica Giusti, a lead author of one such study quotes,

It is possible to use natural, anthocyanin-based food colorants instead of synthetic dyes. Doing so still maintains the wonderful colors of foods while enhancing their health-promoting properties. These foods contain many compounds, and we’re just starting to figure out what they are and which ones provide the best health benefits.

Eat well and live healthier and longer. Better the diet faster the fight against and to prevent cancer.

So eat and live a natural and healthy diet as the old saying rightly goes

You are what you eat!
