Lung cancer treatment: Does gender really matter?

If a woman is caught by deadly lung cancer then her survival chances are comparatively higher if compared to a man. On the basis of the facts that have leaped out of this study, it can be said that women are somewhat luckier than men are, as far as lung cancer is concerned.

However, I think that by now researchers have not been able to give a satisfactory reply to the question that why the effect of lung cancer treatment is different in both the sexes. Don’t you think researchers should try to find out the radical reason behind this so that the exact reason behind this could be carved out and researchers may fill up those drawbacks?
