Level of Nicotine has risen by 10 percent in Cigarettes!

According to the Massachusetts Department of Health, there has been an increase in the level of nicotine by 10 percent in cigarettes manufactured in U.S. in contrast to the last six years, affecting the lungs of the smoker by delivering nicotine in high amount.

The popular brands namely, Marlboro, Newport and Camel are delivering increased amount of nicotine than the past years. The nicotine levels in a smoker can be measured as per the way a smoker uses the cigarette- by partial covering ventilation or taking longer puffs.

As per the Department of Public Health Associate Commissioner, the findings aimed at strengthening of nicotine replacement therapies with the help of the smokers surrender to its use.
