Keep your mind sharp in older age with curry!

Do you know moth-watering curry may keep elderly brain young? Dr Tze-Pin Ng of National University of Singapore and colleagues came across this fact after conducting Mini-Mental State Exam (MMSE). During the research 43 percent people ate curry occasionally while 16 percent didn’t eat curry and as a final conclusion the fact that popped out was that those who ate curry occasionally they performed better in MMSE than those who never ate curry. Even those who ate curry quite often their cognitive function was also found better than non-curry eater.

As we know turmeric is key ingredient of curry and it contains a compound called, Crucumin that possesses potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Curry intake may also prevent people from Alzheimer.

Curry is favorite food of most of the Indians that may be one of the major reason behind the fact that the percentage of Alzheimer patients in India is quite low than the percentage of such patients in US.

So, hurry to eat curry!
