Breakfast – Egg white omelet along with fruits.

Dinner: Sirloin Steak and Sautéed Spinach.

Has LIFE Dinner Salad made from any non-starchy vegetables? Top it with 2tbs of reduced-calorie dressing. You may have two cups of LIFE Veggie Soup as well in the dinner.

Grilled Sirloin Steak Recipe

  • 5 ounces of lean sirloin steak and seasoned with allowed herbs/marinades/seasonings.
  • Preheat the large skillet or you may grill it to medium-high heat. Cook to the desired temperature.

Sautéed Spinach Recipe

  • The first thing to do is to coat sauté cooking pan with the little amount of non-stick cooking spray. Add 1tsp olive oil and heat it to medium range. You may add 1 clove of garlic and sauté until it becomes light brown. It will require only 1-2 minutes of heating.
  • Add four cups of washed spinach leaves. Sauté until it becomes wilted. It may take 3-5 minutes to become wilted and then season with black pepper.

What to “Do” on Joy Bauer Diet

  1. DO eat as scheduled. Enjoy 3 meals along a 1-afternoon snack every day.
  2. DO drink plenty of water every day. Drink 2 eight-ounce glasses of water half an hour before lunch and dinner. Drink as much additional water as you like.
  3. DO begin your dinner with a large tossed salad made from non-starchy vegetables including carrot, mushrooms, celery, cucumbers, tomatoes, and broccoli.
  4. DO eat non-starchy vegetables in huge quantities.
  5. DO engage yourself in an exercising habit of at least 30 minutes daily.

Don’ts while being on Joy Bauer Diet

  1. DON’T add sugar and other artificial or natural sweeteners to foods you eat.
  2. DON’T add excessive salt to the foods.
  3. DON’T eat starch-rich foods in dinner or after dinner including bread, pasta, rice, corn, peas and pot.
