Interesterified fat that replaced Trans fat is also not heart friendly

By imposing ban on Trans fats, states like New York would have thought that now people’s hearts would be safe. However, the problem is still lingering there. Actually, researchers have found that new modified oils, which Trans fats have been replaced with are also not as safe as they are considered to be.

The shocking revelations that floated to the surface are as following:-

1. These new modified oils or interesterified fat, raise blood glucose level and depress insulin in humans, which paves way for diabetes.

2. Depress the beneficial HDL-cholesterol.

3. Put a bad impact on our metabolic health.

A look at these facts impels us to rethink that how safe these new modified oils are because researchers’ study clearly confirms that these modified oils are also not safe, which raises a major cause of concern. The following words of Hayes give out the same view:

In this study, we discovered that Trans fat also has a weak negative influence on blood glucose. The newer replacement for Trans, so-called interesterified fat, appears even worse in that regard, raising glucose 20 percent in a month.
