Human death toll reaches 41 in 52 bird flu cases in Indonesia

A five-year-old boy had died on June 16 in Indonesia. He was a suspected case of bird flu mutation human death. The World Health Organization (WHO) has confirmed on July 3 that the boy had died because of human transmission of deadly bird flu.

The test was conducted in affiliated laboratory in Hong Kong. The total fatalities have gone to forty-one. The number of total cases is fifty-two in Indonesia.

The medical experts are worrying over the highly pathogenic mutation of H5N1. It may transform the virus to be more transmittable among humans.
