Researchers of University of Alabama have come out with a new theory about the origination of the AIDS. According to the study, AIDS virus first instigated in wild apes in Cameroon. Then it spread in humans across Africa and ultimately the world. The study published in journal ‘Science’. It supports the old theory that the people trapped in HIV from chimpanzees, possibly by killing and eating them.

The report says that the chimpanzee group responsible for the rise of HIV possibly resides in Cameroon. However, the HIV took off for the first time in Kinshasa in Congo, formerly known as Zaire. A blood sample of a man showed the first sign in 1959 in Kinshasa. It was then called Leopoldville later called as AIDS virus.
