Health services in Delhi badly hit by the doctors' agitation

The government’s decision to bring in more reservation quotas in educational institutions has angered students all over the country. The doctors of medical institutions in Delhi have joined up with the opposing camps of the reservation proposals. They are on indefinite strike, which is hitting the health services in Delhi.

Although the government has announced some sort of partial roll back of the proposal, but the doctors say that there was nothing actual and concrete in the government announcement.

Resident Doctors Association of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) said that no one from the residents doctors have come on the duty. Faculty Association of the AIIMS said that it will observe black day on May 17. All government hospitals are crippling and emergency services were running by senior specialists.
