We all have heard about oats as a healthy breakfast option. Oats can be combined with some sausage, cheese and dehydrated vegetables. Scrambled oats is preferably a choice for office as it is easy to pack. While we consume oats thinking that it’s healthy, it’s important to know its health and household benefits as well. 1. Acne

Did you know that oatmeal helps in dealing with acne. While teenagers run away from the sight of oatmeal as breakfast, they need to know that it can help them get rid of their acne issues. Cook oatmeal and then let it cool down. Apply it onto the affected area and rinse it gently after 15 minutes. The remedy is traditional but has a logical explanation. Oatmeal absorbs oil and removes bacteria and dead cells from the skin. Honey can be added to increase the vigour of this remedy.

To give a smoothening effect to your skin so make an oatmeal face-mask. Add 1/3rd cup of oatmeal to half cup of hot water and keep it for three minutes. Now add two tablespoons of honey and yoghurt. Put a thin mask on the face and rinse it after 10 minutes.

5. Stress

Relax your body and nourish your skin using oatmeal remedy. To a cup of milk add 2 cups of oatmeal and a tablespoon of scented oil or honey. Apply the resultant onto the skin.

6. Dirty hair

Cleanse and treat the scalp with oatmeal, as it is dry and an ideal shampoo option. Grind oatmeal with baking soda in equal amount. It soaks oil and any odor present in the hair. Apply it into your troublesome hair and wash it out after some time, say after 10-15 minutes.

7. Uncomfortable, itchy dogs

Dogs too suffer from the same problems. Let the itchy dogs get benefits out your breakfast cereal as well. Mix equal oats in water and spread it thinly over your pet’s body. Wrap its body in an Aluminum foil for 10 minutes and then wash it with warm water and do this frequently and regularly until your dog shows some improvement.

Runny dips can be foul in a party, though they are not meant to affect your health in any way. To avoid any problem, replace them with oat flour as it definitely helps and checks the problem.

Oats are obviously a more healthier and better option as compared to bread crumbs which are used to bind the meatballs, burgers, meatloaves and many other such junk food items. Oats keep your heart away from all problems.
