The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria has driven out all the worries of lacking the support to fight against fatal diseases. It has given the new grant of millions of dollars for this purpose. The Global AIDS Alliance and ActionAid were concerned that the drying funds can interrupt battle against deadly diseases.
Global Fund is the largest global supporter of malaria and Tuberculosis projects and placed third among the AIDS funder. It has tried hard to succeed long-term financial backing from its donors, like Europe, the United States and Japan. The Global Fund’s board is in favor of launching a new round of grants, to cost up to $1 billion in their first two years. The money had not been yet assured by governments and other contributors.
