Isabelle Dinoire, who received the first ever face transplant, is on the way of satisfactory progress. Prof Bernard Devauchelle and other experts who did the transplant are satisfied with the progress rate of Dinoire.
She is now very much comfortable while drinking and eating. She is able to speak normally as well. Further, she needs more physiotherapy to get more movement around the lips.
Mrs Dinoire will have a continuous control of her immune system with drugs to prevent refusal of the transplanted face.
