Fertility treatment: Cutting the strings of age and family structure

Scotsman has reported that Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) have made new guidelines, which would accommodate fertility treatment irrespective of the age of the applicants. Though this has made fertility guidelines more flexible, but this has made the childcare issue more oblivious.
The recent arrangement is possible only when both the parents have a good physical and psychological history; their past would reflect on the arrangements they can make for the child in future. Though this has warded off the possibilities of unnecessary probing into the more private areas of a client’s life, it has questioned the medical ethics in taking the age factor and family structure for granted – when both are closely related to fertility.
