ETS leads to breathing problems in healthy adults!

Long study of 11 years by the researchers in Switzerland that studied about 1,661 people have proved that inhaling environmental tobacco smoke (ETS) may lead to chronic breathing problems in healthy adults. This study also strips off the facts that exposure to ETS may lead to wheezing, coughing, chronic bronchitis and shortness of breath.

Bring out the same idea lead author Margaret W Gerbase, Ph.D from the University Hospitals of Geneva in Switzerland avers:

Indirect evidence derived from smokers shows that airway responsiveness increases the risk to develop cough, phlegm, dyspnea (shortness of breath), and chronic bronchitis.

Don’t you think this revelation is more than enough to understand how harmful active as well as passive smoking can be.
