Traditional Egg Diet – The ancient method of this diet does not consider eating only eggs in the dieting days. However, you must gain maximum protein intake from eggs. It is a variation of the diet where the dieter’s focus is on the reduction of carb intake.

  • Breakfast  Eat 3 or more eggs with grapefruit, veggies, or lean protein.
  • Lunch  1 serving of egg along with lean protein like chicken and fish.
  • Dinner  Have another serving of eggs or a little portion of protein from lean sources.

You are allowed to eat salads and low carb veggies. Dieters can only have an intake of 1 or 2 servings of fruits per day. You are not allowed to eat pasta, potatoes, and bread.

Eggs & Grapefruit Diet

Eggs are the main intake in this diet whereas grapefruit is the second option. You must have grapefruit with every meal. The rest of the guidelines of this diet are the same as the above-mentioned version of this diet.

It is the most extreme form of this diet because it allows you to have hard-boiled eggs while drinking lots of water. You may replace plain water with crystal light drink mix.
