Eat fish to lower the risk of dementia and Alzheimer!

Now, you have another reason to add fish to your diet and the reason is that eating fish may keep you away from dementia and Alzheimer. This fact has come to light after a long study of 9 years.

In this study researchers tried to find out whether there is a relation between docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) levels in the blood and dementia or not. Actually, DHA is an omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid, which is found in fish. Researchers found that the people with highest level of DHA in their blood had 47 percent lower risk of developing dementia and had 39 percent lower risk of developing Alzheimer.

These figures clearly indicate that eating fish may lower your chances of dementia and Alzheimer.
