An Oklahoma-based company has recollected 156,235 pounds of ground beef products. These are said to be contaminated with E. coli bacteria. It was discovered through scheduled product-test on beef patty products.
The products were already circulated to retailers, restaurants and institutions in Arkansas, Kansas, Oklahoma and Missouri. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (UDA) has confirmed this recollection of beef products. E. coli causes bloody diarrhea and dehydration leads to higher health risks in humans. So, the beef products had a quick recollection from the market.
