DCDC2, a gene that causes dyslexia

Scientists at Bonn’s National Genome Research Network have claimed to detect the dyslexia gene that is scientifically known as DCDC2. A person will be at five times probable to be dyslexic, if the gene DCDC2 is present in his body. According to the researchers, it may disturb the brain development.

However, the gene is found but there is no any effective treatment is discovered. This detection of gene is said to be the first step to find out the effectual treatment of this disorder.
