Cold feet could lead to bad cold!

Keeping feet cold may lead to cold. Earlier most of us regarded it as old wives’ tale. However, now you have a reason to pay heed to this notion because a new study backs up the fact that exposing feet to cold may result in a pretty bad cold.

Before coming out with this conclusion researchers studied about 180 volunteers. These 180 volunteers were asked to stick their feet in cold water for about 20 minutes during cold season and as a result, 29 percent of the volunteers were engulfed by cold.

Researchers believe that exposing feet to cold temperature brings closer the blood vessels of the nose that impede the supply of infection-fighting white blood cells.

So, if you want to keep cold away, keeping feet warm is the best way.
