Cholera shocks Angola

The cholera has a deadly spread in Angola. With 20,000 infected people and 900 deaths, it shocked the country just within ten weeks. The preventive measures are still not enough to control the spreading.

Doctors Without Borders(Medecins Sans Frontieres) is working day and night in the affected areas and asking more relief from International organizations.

Luis Encina, MSF emergency coordinator for the cholera outbreak said, ‘this outbreak is completely out of control’. MSF has six treatment centers for cholera in Luanda, one in Benguela, one in Malanje, one in ‘Ndalatando, and one in Caxito.
