Cardiac arrest: Clopidogrel cocktail to cut down death risks

A recent study published in the Lancet medical journal, reports that a cocktail of an anti-clotting drug called clopidogrel and a daily dose of aspirin during emergency heart attacks to keep heart attacks at bay. Dr Zheng-Ming Chen, of the University of Oxford, recruited nearly 50,000 patients during their admission with heart attacks at 1,250 hospitals in China. He feels that clopidogrel which cuts down death risks rising out of heart attacks by 9 percent, could have saved about 5000 lives and evaded 5000 non-fatal repeat heart attacks. If pilling in this drug is going to help then it should be made handy as the Sorbitrate pills.
While there are further implementations of the treatment, an earlier study on the tetracycline cocktail is a proven treatment on a long-term basis, which cuts down the possibility of an intravenous therapy, which is supposed to be the second phase of the clopidogrel treatment.
