Blueberries Outsmart ALZHEIMER's

Blueberries contain an oxidants that may help beat a genetic disposition to Alzheimer’s disease (AD), a new study from Tufts University has uncovered.
‘We found that blueberries boost enzymes that help brain cells ‘talk’ to each other and make the cell membranes more receptive to the signals,’ says researchers James Joseph, PhD. ‘Our results suggest for the first time that it may be possible to overcome a genetic predisposition to AD through diet.’
