Now, Bhutan is going to launch a three-year campaign to curb the spread of HIV/AIDS in her territory. This three-year campaign aims at spreading out information about HIV/AIDS and promoting safer sex and using condom during sex. In addition, this campaign against HIV/AIDS also aims at promoting voluntary blood tests for HIV.
According to the reports of Bhutan’s National HIV/AIDS Commission the major reason behind this much of rise in HIV patients in Bhutan is unprotected sex. Due to this reason, 90 percent of the infected patients are young.
This disclosure is really horrific and I hope this campaign would surely help people of Bhutan to curb the spread of HIV/AIDS.
