5 tips to follow when visiting the ER for chronic pain

If you are among those who suffer from chronic pain and if someday due to excessive pain you land in the emergency room, then chances are likely that doctors will not take you seriously and treat you well. The reason is that they might think you are visiting the emergency room for fast treatment and you are actually not in a lot of pain. Pain is among those problems which you cannot show but only feel. In case of other problems like fracture or injury, doctor will treat you with utmost care and seriousness in the emergency room because your problem is visible. But in case of pain, you have to make them believe that you are actually suffering from a severe pain and you need to be treated in the emergency room. Sometimes, in such a case, you start fighting with doctors and nurses which can increase your problem. So how can a chronic pain patient convince the ER staff that he/she is really suffering from huge pain? Here are a few tips from the pain experts:
