I have YAMAHA RX-V667 for 2 weeks now and Iâm confused by the set up. I am running a 5.1 set up and when I go to configuration set it to 7.1 standards. I have turned ‘surround back’ speaker off, so I am assuming that the amp will run a 7.1 effect via a 5.1 set up? This is what actually I am doing with my set up, my question now is this correct or I should try something else. Needed your feedback.
