Good speakers give a fabulous experience of listening music. Many brands in the market make nice speakers, but have you ever thought about a speaker that whiffs Eco-friendly tune? An environmentally friendly designer, Kevin Bone created such speaker with the name of Swappa. Swappa speakers are a pair of travel speakers produced from recycled materials and traditional wood working method. The designer is currently studying in Massey University, Auckland, New Zealand and gave his best shot to recycle things. He took low value materials and elevated that to something that will be used and cherished by everyone.
As I already said, Swappa speakers are made from thrown out materials that already lived their life. They are portable and can be carried anywhere. Unlike other heavy speakers, Swappa can be packed when not in use and does not take much space. Apart from being efficient, the speakers are created in an attractive manner. The speaker is made up of a wooden box, woolen clothing and speaker components inside. Wooden box is created from wooden cases used to carry beer bottles and other things. They can be assembled easily without using any tools such as screw or glue.
If we talk about the design, the speakers are rectangular. The wooden boxes used to make the speaker are kept in their original form, which gives it a unique look. They are not painted to hide the original marks. It also gives us the reminder that the wooden base has already lived their life. The speakers can be hooked with MP3 players, mobile phones and all other devices that can play music for you. All the power is drawn from a 3.5 mm plug, so you can carry it anywhere, even where the power outlets are unavailable. According to me, this is the best feature of the speakers, because most of the speakers come with a power cable and you cannot use it without external energy. However, this product is an exception and gives you the freedom to use it anytime and anywhere.
Keep it on your desk or wedge on the wall, these speakers will always entertain you. Listen to your favorite songs whenever you need and once you are done, snap it and keep wherever you want. Wherever you will keep it, they will save your space. I have a notebook and wherever I go, I carry my notebook and a portable speaker in the laptop bag pack, but sometimes it becomes very hefty. By any chance, if I want to carry some your other belonging in the same bag, there are no space left after putting the speaker, but if I will carry these speakers, it will not contribute to the extra weight and I will be able to keep more things in the bag. If you have a notebook or mp3 player and you always carry a portable speaker like me, then it can be the best choice. Above all the other feature and characteristics, they are environmentally friendly.
