Japan’s National Institute of Information and Communications (NICT) joined its hands with JVC Kenwood to develop a 200-inch auto-stereoscopic Full HD 3D display. It is being endorsed as the largest glasses-free 3D display till date. The screen lets you to see a video from 57 different viewpoints which imply that you can also see the sides of 3D pieces. The weight of the 200 inch display is around 500 kg (1100 pounds). This display has a condenser lens system that focuses the light for acute images together with a special diffuser film that produces an even transition amongst separate angles of view.

The down side

This display technology can be an amazing experience but there are some limitations also. This display has not been developed for the consumer market yet. It was initially visualized for design and digital-signage appliances. So, its market may not be that large. Also, its 500 kg weight could cause some problems.

This display can make its users to go through some great viewing experiences. And the best thing is that 3D viewing goggles are not required.
