Its big 3.7 inches S-AMOLED display is great for viewing and 720p HD recording feature at 30 frame per second video recording is stunning. It has got 8 mp camera, 16 GB of internal memory plus a micro-SD slot but the projector is WVGA DLP based with only 6 lumens.

LG eXpo

LG eXpo is a projector phone with QWERTY slider. In this phone projector is an accessory which can be removed, and it comes at an extra cost. LG eXpo runs on Windows Mobile 6.5 on a 1 Ghz CPU. It’s got a 3.2″ touchscreen and 5 mp camera.

Mini Intex V Show is a smaller version of its precursor, It’s a dual SIM capable Mobile with 2.4 inch screen, 2 mp camera and has 100 MB of internal memory. Its external memory can be jacked up to 16 GB. Mini Intex has a document reader, which would make it easy to project the presentations in case your office projector acts kinky.

G’FIVE G5

G5 is a dual SIM portable projector phone but it fails as a basic phone. The lack of a good speaker and hands free headset is the major impediment. G5 is a good small projector substitute, but not good enough to deliver as a phone. If you want an alternate option, then you can look at Spice Popkorn M9000 or Intex V.Show.

The Future of Projector Phones

The DLP light chip making company, which powers many projectors is very confident about the future projector phones. They believe in future projector phones will be as popular as camera phones are today. In the meantime, many companies are working on new projector phones: Nokia, NTT DoCoMo and even Apple.
