It is first of its kind to transform the home theater into home cinema with its amazing features and specifications.

The award winning Constant Stereoscopic Video (CSV) provide an incomparable approach to the world of 3D visualization along with the glasses of Panavision 3D system with the spectral filtration technology and portions the entire visible spectrum into 10 slender bands – with five intended to the right eye and five to the left resulting in the reception of the same amount of total white light energy by the each eye, so the images appear equivalent in vividness and provide precise color facsimile. Its Cine wide Autoscope technology has transformed home theater into home cinema for the first time ever. This software helps in using 100% of pixels and light output of the projector in this manner eliminating the black bars and stretching the picture vertically to form the image. The Runco D-113d provides a constant HD image to each eye without the shimmer, deformation, or uneasiness innate in other approaches. This is a beyond doubt a flaccid dual-projector approach. This product also gives an option of choosing multiple lenses and seamlessly switching between 3D and 2D. The CSV and Cine Wide come as an optional content which are charged additionally.

Talking about the specifications, it’s a 3-chip Texas Instruments Digital Light Processing(TM) (DLP), SuperOnyx(TM) DMD(TM) type of projector having a width, depth and height of 617.80mm, 829.35mm and 665.48mm respectively. It has a native resolution of 1920*1080 and has 3D Processor with ViVix IV technology and BRiC tool. This system requires 100 VAC to 240 VAC ± 10% at 50/60Hz amount of power with maximum of 2640W consumption. It works well in between 5 degree to 35 degree Celsius temperature and has 16:9 native aspect ratios. This gadgets illumination system consists of quad and dual mercury lamps respectively which can be individually swapped while projector is in operation.

It also has Digital High Definition (DHD) external processor for video. As per the owner’s level of personalization this system can be customized with Runco’s Finish Palette, in which 25 hand-finished signature colors compliment any customization and décor. D-113D’s calibration is certified by ISF and has NTSC, PAL, SECAM, CEA-861D as its video standards. Its color gamuts are greater than BT.709 (REC709) and fully adjustable. RS-232 and IR remote controls this marvelous system. Its 3D technology is somewhat based on active LCD shutter-glass technology and is designed in such a way to ensure that the whole solution execute as an incorporated system in order to make it compatible with the brains way of sensing 3D things.

What’s good

Runco provides 2 years Premiere Care warranty and the lamp life is 2000 hours. Moreover polarizations is not required by this high-tech system due to which the image can be easily shown on a white screen which works both for 3D and 2D with more finer image quality and unvarying illumination.

What’s not so good

As such this system does not have any disadvantages. Being a professional projector, the only drawback is its heavy weight which is about 124.74 kg.

The price of this projector is around $199995 and it would be shipped in late October 2011.
