There are so many different ways to record audio: MP3, minidisc, voice recorders. Which is best? I’d like a device that will let me record high-quality audio (good enough for classical music), and be able to download this audio file to my computer for archive and/or future playback. I would like this to be an “all digital” process, with no need to digitize the “line out” signal from the portable device. A few MP3 players have a “Voice Recorder”. To me, this name implies, “No good for anything but voice”. I’d like something higher quality. Any help will be appreciated. Even knowing what DOESN’T work would be helpful. Thanks.
