My problem is a simple one: My brand-spanking new Onkyo Ht-s6200 receiver keeps switching/changing listening modes, from Dolby, to PLIIx Movie THX Cinema, to whatever and it makes this annoying, loud, clicking sound when it does it. It happens simply by the passage of time, no channel changing, volume changing or anything else required . My current setup is as follows (all are brand-new):
(1) High def, Tivo Directv
(2) Onkyo Ht-s6200 receiver
(3) Panasonic V10 TV
(4) 5 surround sound speakers, plus a subwolfer
(5) Sony DVD/VHS player
All were professionally installed by either Directv or Geek Squad personnel. Besides call for help, which I’m doing tomorrow anyways, is there something that I need to look for? I’d like to have a decent understanding before talking to any tech support.
