Like Edison, Bautham also made use of various parts of old clock to create this mechanical device and linked it to the internet. At the same time, he also connected the instrument with his Twitter feed in order to get print outs. Though the paper used in the machine is a simple receipt roll, no ink is used in it for printing. Rather, the updates are burnt directly onto the paper.

It took a total of three months for Bautham to design and launch the device in the market. There is a small microcontroller embedded in its base. A petite printer is also set inside it in order to carry out the task perfectly.
