Now that the iPhone 5 has been released, the excitement hovering around its release has sobered down. It is clear now, that most of our past accessories of the previous versions of iPhone are not compatible with iPhone 5. Every phone needs a regular charger and a car charger. No matter, howsoever tall claims are made about a phone’s battery life, a car charger is a must have with every phone. The bad part however is, that iPhone 5 car chargers are not that easily available. And even if they are, then they are quite highly priced in the range of $40 to $50.

The first batch of iPhone 5 cases, have released in the market. Popular companies like Case-Mate, Speck and Griffin have their first lot of iPhone 5 cases. But, since these are fashion and style statement elements, people want more variety. The limited designs do not cater to everybody’s fashion sensibilities. It is still not clear, if apple is itself working on designing a new case for iPhone 5. Everybody wants to protect their pricey iPhone’s in stylish cases.
Iphone Docks, Cables & More
Apple Vice President of Marketing Phil Schiller has confirmed that Apple is not working on a dock of its own. Apple sites that most people keep their iPhones in a case, because of which it fails to fit in a dock. Many third-party audio companies are also currently working on iPhone 5 specific speaker systems to accommodate the new slimmer profile and the lightning connector, including Bose and iHome.
Iphone 5 Ear Phones
The new iPhone 5 is sleek in its design and size. Hence, simple things as ear phones are also not compatible. Hence, this is also one must have accessory, but unfortunately not so easily available in the market.
Amazon.com, claims to be selling iPhone accessories online, but there have been cases where, people have bought these accessories and they were actually accessories of the previous versions of iPhone. It is understandable, that it is not easy to wait for accessories, but its in our best interest to wait and buy genuine products.
