I recently brought a Niles Audio Volume Control and speakers for my lounge and using a Yamaha rxv-765 Zone 2 receiver. After following all necessary instructions I turned the VC all the way up, then fixed the receiver up to a decent level, and went back to the lounge to adjust the speakers, but the VC didn’t change until I got to the second-to-last setting. Basically giving me ‘soft’, ‘loud’ and off. I have tried the opposite, starting at the softest volume and getting louder, but still it is also giving me the same results. Help if you know the problem.
