I bought a Yamaha RX-V371 two days ago, I have hooked it up all properly, I have the radio working, my Xbox and iPod hooked up and working, but I canât figure out how to get the TV’s audio to play through it. I spent 4 hours trying to do it and I can’t figure it out. I have a Magnavox TV whether or not that helps and a white and red RCA cable that the dude at Best Buy said would work. I’ve hooked it up to the Video 1 and Component 1 and 2 jacks on the TV. Do I need to buy an optical cable or an HDMI cable? It is an HDTV but the TV shows aren’t in HD whether that’s irrelevant or not, I’m just trying to give as much information as possible, I want this fixed. Please somebody help me.
