I have a home built serial ir receiver attached to the com port of my computer. It worked for me for years. I used winlirc and grinder to perform various tasks for the remote. Once I installed the skype adapter au 600 which works almost like a modem. Ever since I have installed it my ir receiver is not working like it was working before. Do you guys hace any idea why this is happening? I tried using different USB ports but it was of no use.
