With state-of-the-art speech technology of Voice Command, we have always wanted to add one last feature to our phones to make them act as our personal assistants. To meet our expectations, Google has rolled out an application for Android-based smartphones that uses voice commands to perform tasks such as sending emails or fetch driving directions. The app is compatible with handsets running on the latest Android 2.2 software, Froyo and is available for English speakers only. However, those of you holding for Droid 2 smartphones, this program will come pre-installed.
