I am looking for an affordable HD capable switcher and thinking of using the Extron matrix 6400 wideband for routing and switching. We have used this for other needs but not using it now. I want to use the control panel (MKP 1000) for VTR recording. Does anyone know how to use Matrix 6400 for live production? Extron ISS 408 or 506 and its control panel RCP 2000, would work great for us but the cost exceeds our budget. So Experienced guys help us with a solution which is a bit cost effective.
